KORNERSTONE PRODUCTIONS INC. INTRODUCES...... Debiiey the newest singing sensation from Toronto, Canada. Her musical style embraces the old and the new with an R&B and Adult Contemporary flavour.
Debiiey will be releasing her debut album in 2008. Her smooth soulful voice has passion, style and will keep the audience moving and wanting more. Debiiey who writes and records her own material has teamed up with “Tower” Sinclair of Kornerstone Studio’s to produce this magnetic and energetic CD which truly showcases and compliments Debiiey’s passionate voice.
Singing began at a very young age for Debiiey. She was always exposed to music from a child growing up. Debiiey’s mother listened to all kinds of music and Sunday was the day when the 45’s came out and music played from Sun up to Sun down. The house was filled with Soul, Reggae, Lovers Rock, Ska and even Country. These elements are what helped to create Debiiey’s love for all types of music.
From childhood Debiiey knew that music was where her dreams, heart and passion lied. Debiiey has always drawn and been drawn towards music. She has been involved in talent shows, church choirs, various bands and numerous events that have allowed Debiiey’s talent to blossom and cultivate in diverse ways and different musical styles. Debiiey started writing music everywhere on the bus, at school in a car, on the subway. She always had her note pad at hand and you can always find her humming a tune.
Debiiey has been a part of some of Canada's music events which include live shows in Toronto’s many venues. Her talents also extend to acting, theatre, television and dance. She has appeared in Star Hunter as Quinta, Common Ground as Alicia to name a few.
When she opens her mouth, she captivates all those who listen with her style, character, presence, energy and her passion. When she sings you can feel the powerful force that she possesses. You can always bet she is singing from the heart.
